Zebra - Not Yet Zany!

So our Marwell Zebra sculpture has arrived at the school – he/she is hanging out on the balcony above the library at the moment.   Decoration will begin soon & it will be taken away by Marwell at the end of May.

The HPS Zebra will become part of this summer’s Zany Zebra Trail in Southampton before returning to the school permanently in the autumn.

Welly Racks for after Forest School lessons

With all the school now having regular Forest School lessons, the Friends of HPS have provided enough welly racks for each phase to dry off their welliingtons after their lessons.

Unfortunately there isn’t enough space in the school for each phase to have their own set of racks, so they have to be shared.  Therefore, please can you ask your children to take their wellies home at the end of the school day so that the next phase can use them the following day.

We’d also like to advise the children to hang their wellies upside down on the ‘prongs’ rather than hanging them in bags off the racks – the rain just gets into the bags & will make those wellingtons soggy!

Hythe Primary Rugby Teams now fully kitted out!

The Friends of Hythe Primary School have purchased two sets of rugby kit (tops, shorts & socks) for the Year 5/6 and 3/4  teams.  Now they can look like a team as well as playing like one.
